During a routine mission, Eris crashlands on Earth and gets stranded on a remote island feeling hungry and miles from anywhere she can call home. Kio meets her while she mixes with the locals and takes in all the delights of their cuisine - but not alcohol - as he thinks she might be too young to have any! This is when he passes out, and wakes up with a cute, big bosomed cat girl in his bed.

Known in Japan as Asobi ni iku yo! or Bombshells from the Sky, Cat Planet Cuties revolves around one young former stranded cat girl called Eris who the CIA are trying to get hold of as she is in fact an alien, or Catian girl. Kio is shocked when he finds that Manami knows all about  her as she came in with him that night. He has to put up with being awkward around girls (especially ones with big breasts) and has to be careful not to annoy Manami as she's more than likely to clobber him.

While one of them thinks he should be getting to know young girls at his age, and going out on dates with them in order to become a young man, the other decides he is nothing more than a pervert who is obsessed with manga and anime, and thinks he is too young to get into relationships with girls as he isn't ready for the commitment. They also don't believe that Eris is a Catian, not a girl in a cat girl outfit until she proves it - which means laughs all round.

As a science-fiction, harem comedy romance anime series, there is a lot of jealousy involved with the girls who fancy Kio, but when they realise they could all be his potential lovers, they relax a little and everything seems to turn out alright. If only that were true. The humour keeps coming and the characters waste no time to get on with their missions, and there is more than a fair share of fan service in the entire series - I can hear the guys shouting "yeah!" at the moment.

Bonus Material: Episode 1 Commentary, Episode 9 Commentary, Extra Bonus Features 1-12, The End, Ichika Special, Text less Opening Songs and Text less Closing Songs.

Verdict: Loads of fan service, lots of humour and it's well animated - what are you waiting for - go get it!
