Luffy and his friends have found the entrance to the Grand Line, but it's dangerous seas ahead for them. There is good news though as they have all decided on what they want before they get there, and everyone has a different goal in mind. A girl held captive on a ship goes missing to escape her harsh captors only to be taken on board a pirate ship. Lucky for her, the pirates are Luffy's crew and vow to look after her once they have her name and why her captors wanted her so badly. The girl is called Apis and comes to Warship Island while her former captors need to get her back for reasons Luffy and his crew don't know.

In the second episode, Luffy and the crew wonder why all the sea creatures in the area seem to be attracted to the girl, but this is only the start of the problems they continue having when they try to make Apis's dream come true for her friend. This is also the time where Luffy is close to realizing his own dream, but will he find it? This shows the undeniable naivete of the crew, especially Luffy himself, but you can't help but laugh at the trouble they have as it is so like them to get into scrape after scrape.

Though there was a lot of filler episodes in this set, they were enjoyable. The quality of the animation has not changed either, it is still crisp, and clear as before.

Bonus Material: Episode 61, An Angry Showdown! Cross the Red Line!, Commentary, Text less Opening - Believe!, Text less Closing - Run! Run! Run!, Episode 67, Deliver the Princess Vivi!, The Luffy Pirates Set Sail! and Commentary, Text less Opening - Believe! and Text less Closing - Shouchinosuke!

Verdict: It's tough on the high seas with Luffy and his crew, but you know it's going to be fun all the way!
