After the village is still reeling from the attack it has been given, tempers are frayed at the nomination of Danzo as the new Hokage after Lady Tsunade had suffered a harsh attack from Pain's evil army. It has been hinted at in previous episodes that Danzo craved power early on, and that he knew he would become something big, but no one realised he would become the next ruler of Konoha, like Minato and others before him, but what will Naruto and Sakura do now that they know more about his cruel and manipulative ways?

As with the other box sets in the Naruto Shippuden series, this one has its fair share of varied episodes, from serious problems with the Akatsuki, to Danzo being appointed the new Hokage and humorous episodes like 'The Worst Three-Legged Race,' and the more touching 'Naruto's Plea.' In 'The Worst Three-Legged Race,' Naruto and Sakura meet with Kiba and Akamaru and reflect on what had happened to them in the past when Sasuke was still in Team 7. Fans of the lighter hearted part of the series might enjoy this one, and girls liking fan-service might enjoy that it's the second time Sasuke and Naruto kiss by accident. In 'Naruto's Plea,' when it looks like Sasuke won't be captured and taken back for questioning, The Raikage has no choice but to order an execution of the rogue, former Hidden Leaf ninja, but not without protest from the one who knows the most about him, Naruto. This episode is as touching as I made out, and when no amount of talking will get the Raikage to stop, he can only plead and beg.  In 'Sasuke's Ninja Way,' this is the scene for the big fight between the Raikage and Sasuke who now has the power of the Susano-o. what is obvious from the fight is that the Raikage is no match for Sasuke, but who will win will remain a mystery until you watch it. For a while now Sasuke has grown in strength, and here is where he shows how good he is, and it is well worth waiting for as are the rest of the episodes.

Verdict: This box set is a mix of serious drama, excellent fight scenes and some of the best humour I've seen in a while.
