Rune Balot and her partner are out at a casino playing Blackjack where she is being told how the others will inevitably lose the game and leave as they are being led to win a few games, then will lose. The owner of the casino is the same man who tried to kill and then burn to death Rune when she was younger. He can see Rune and her friend are doing well, and don't like it, advising his men to "burn them."

You get the impression everyone who works for the boss is aware he tried to kill her but must pay them well to keep their opinions to themselves. He is also the sort of boss who can buy anyone he likes for money he would consider nothing. Rune and her friend plan on taking him down by winning over a million at his casino as a payback for how she was used and abused while she worked for him. When another player who works for the boss is sent down to play them in a closed game, Rune has a hard time getting more than a draw, but they aves seen the chip with Shell's memories on the table and it is within their reach.

As Rune is communication via a hidden microphone inside her glove, their new player finds it suspicious, and tells her. She, in turn tries to alleviate the stress of the situation by removing her gloves to show that she isn't trying to cheat him or the casino. The games they play are long and laborious, but show the stress Rune will go through to dishonour her player for working for his boss, and his boss for what he did to her. From what I could see, they are lucky to have made it out of the casino alive after what they attempted. Using the chip they got from the casino, she will be able to read Shell's memories to find out who he lead a life of crime in the first place. As Rune needs Oefcoque's help she only has a day to get the information, but it should be enough as she has grown used to being able to read criminals minds.

Most of the movie takes place in the casino where her winning makes a mockery of their boss even though the man who plays her tells her that there are consequences of her being there. It has taken three movies, but this time around Rune shows her courageous side for once. From the start she has been a weak girl who couldn't look after herself and relied on her cruel boss to help give her what she wanted even though it was for the price of being his slave. She has grown strong and here she stands up to the one man who hurt and tried to kill her prone body. There are several flashbacks to the time the incident happened that show how far she has come in being victorious. As a third movie that shows how brave she is being in her former captors lair, it can get a little tedious watching a card game play out for so long, but if you stick with it, you will understand how much it means to Rune. She has to beat her former boss no matter what the consequences.

Bonus Material: Promo Video.

Verdict: It's an unusual series, but one that will stick in the minds of viewers.
