Blurb: Written by Fillion and illustrated by Leon de Leon, Life is But a Dream is a tale in which a Mirage Demon attempts to make Deimos forget he s fighting a war by making him believe he s a massively successful porn star living a normal life in a war-free world.

Review: Deimos isn't your ordinary demon. He is a fallen angel with the horns to prove it, and a need to seek and receive God's forgiveness for going astray. And he has a lot to atone for as he was one of the first demon to do the devil's bidding on Earth when he was cast down. Now as Heaven's Warrior he works for God and still gets chance to make-out with hot guys. He's got his halo back, but has to earn his wings as he sorts out the trouble makers annoying him upstairs.

As if anyone didn't know, Leon de Leon's comic art and Patrick Fillion's writing is essentially erotica with a little something more - or should I say a lot more than we would normally get from most men. The characters are steaming hot, well-built and leave nothing to the imagination as far as male genitalia is concerned, in fact I don't think I've seen bigger cocks than the ones drawn in here (and as for the balls, well, you will find out.) The art is realistic - looking with a dark line around the characters, their pecs, arms, muscles, cocks and thighs are hugely emphasised. Readers who are familiar with yaoi, bishonen and boy's love manga art might well get used to this style of comic book art as the stories are fun, tongue-in-cheek and leave you with a smile on your face.

Life is But a Dream and Dead of Winter feature in this book along with several amazing pin-ups by some of the best names in the business; Eric Mars, Logan,  Jacob Mott and Butch McLogic Before we get to the main event, we get treated to a short story.

Cardinal's Sin features the Cardinal who is dreaming about Deimos in a very sinful way - cue him thwacking Cardinal in the face with his wanger, before he's back to normal. In Life is But a Dream, Deimos's world is turned upside down when a fellow demon cons him into thinking he's a porn star rather than the fighter for justice he really is. Here he believes he lives the life most men want and has a privileged family complete with the attraction of a superstar wherever he goes - especially in nightclubs! Everyone loves him and he knows it, and the attraction is hard to fight (as are the men who see him clad in a gold bow-tie and erection showing posing pouch.) With a series of his own line of sex toys to promote and being known as the best cock in the business, he might hardly recognise his true calling. Until it's nearly too late, Deimos finds out what is going on - he's been the victim of a mirage demon.

Deimos is the one demon we can't do without and he's got a lot to offer readers from the trouble he faces with Gabriel and the sinning he does with the Cardinal - he's the sort of loveable rogue we have come to know and adore - even in gold lame! Luckily for us, there are more Deimos comics out there - just enjoy the collection of artwork of our favourite Taro demon realised by several different artists.

Verdict: Deimos 10th Anniversary is a must for fans of erotic comics where men here are larger than life.
